Nowadays we feel less of the rituals of such events, at least in europe. Outside of europe it’s a different matter: in siberia, the chamans invoque spirits through trance music. In mexico, spontaneous raves are organised on sacred tulum sites, with a very specific dress code: ancient maya costumes. Jephte guillaume, from haïti, puts rhythms from traditional voodoo ceremonies in all his tracks. And in thailand , the full moon parties have become an institution. All nations have their own different way of living electronic music!
